Thank you for attending the 6th Annual 1 More Win Charity Golf Tournament presented by Chevrolet. We were able to raise almost $20,000 for high school athletics in Southern California We had a sell-out roster of more than 140 players and were very excited to include 15 sponsors in total for our tournament. We were lucky to receive some TV coverage thanks to Fox 5 news, and with that promotion we have received some fantastic nominations from schools who need help here in Southern California. We plan on helping a struggling high school football program in the fall. We would like to thank out sponsors: Chevrolet, SDCCU, Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians, Wealthiest Bastards, Thrasher Pest Control, RidePlayTV, The Lost Abbey, Port Brewing, Legacy Parenting Survival Wear, Dinsmore and Schol, Batta Fulkerson, The Pendry San Diego, The Westin Gaslamp, MMC Real Estate Holdings, and Riddle Heating and Air. The first donation we made post-pandemic was Grossmont High School Girls Softball. This was unique because Grossmont was the school who missed out on their 2020 donation due to the pandemic. Watch -- Fox 5 coverage of Grossmont Girls Softball Donation The NominationHi I’m a mom at Grossmont’s high school . My daughters both go there and are very involved in the wonderful sports programs offered at the school. My favorite sport is softball and both of my girls play. My oldest played JV for two years and my youngest will hopefully make the team this spring. The softball program does a few fundraisers but never seem to get enough money for new uniforms and helmets- I have personally donated many items bats balls socks etc but they could really use some new uniforms and helmets. I don’t think they have had them replaced for years . While grossmont is mostly known for baseball and has a few players in the big leagues. Those player pay if forward and the baseball team has benefitted greatly. It would be beyond awesome for the lady foothillers to get some new duds. Please consider our school! Thank you in advance . The DonationThanks to our generous network of sponsors and supporters, we were able to donate almost $7500 worth of equipment for the girls varsity softball team at Grossmont High. Brand new helmets, home and away jerseys, and logo'd Nike backpacks.
